Lori McCarthy from Cod Sounds will take you and your kids on a “wild adventure” of foraging and hunting for beach treasures.
Lori invites the whole family to join her and she uncovers a whole new world of treasures such as edible plants that grow along our shores as well as what grows in our ocean. She’ll share wisdom about Newfoundland’s food traditions and history in an adventure suited to children and adults. This is a fabulous family adventure and learning activity.
Please note this is an outdoor event, please dress for the terrain and weather. The adventure will start on the beach in Durrell on Howletts Road.
