ADRIFT, a one-man show based on the loss of four sealers from Fogo Island in April of 1917.

It is early April 1917 and four young men must venture across the frozen waters off Fogo Island in search of seals. The wind changes, the ice drifts, and the men vanish leaving only a gaff pole to wash ashore inscribed with “Down to Perish, April 11″. Hear the story told through the eyes of Joseph Jacobs, the owner of that gaff. Based on a true story.

"a stark, poignant retelling of sealing tragedy ... White is a likeable and honest performer, who gains and retains his audience’s sympathy with his candour.” - Gordon Jones, The Telegram
